Velammal West school Athlete Master. Pradeep. S won the 800 mts gold medal by reaching the finishing point with state record timing of 1.59 sec in 32 nd Tamilnadu Junior Open State Athletics Championship 2018 – 19,held at Madurai from 30.09.2018 to 02.10.2018.
M. Sneha and M. Loka Pavithra of the same schoolbagged Bronze medal in 200m and 400m respectively.
